about
This is my second song and second part of Stardust, also written for Charlie because I was not too happy with Stardust. I decided to keep Stardust in the album because Charlie liked it so much but then I was also inspired to write him a better song, So then 'The Universe is With Us' was born! I love this song, its one of my favorite originals. I wrote it because I had gotten so lucky to see him so many times through out the year of 2016. People kept saying how lucky I was and how the universe was with us (Charlie and I) and people were rooting for us to become friends. Its a lovely song and I love the vibe I get when I sing it.
lyrics
LYRICS:
It's no coincidence that we see each other
is the way it should be
not a moment goes by where i think of you
so i wonder if you think of me too
and the universe is with us
yea the universe is with us
ohhh
ohhh
your skin was warm like summer
the first time i held you
and your lips were red like roses
when you spoke of the things you love
and the universe is with us
yea the universe is with us
ohhh
ohhh
and when i look into your eyes
we connect through these galaxies
where time in space no longer exists
and its just you and me
and the universe is with us
yea the universe is with us
and the universe is with us
yea the universe is with us
ohhh
ohhh
ohhh
ohhh
oohhhh
